Alden Benjamin Cate was born April 11, 1941 to Leroy and Laura Mae Cate in Okanogan, Washington. The following year, Cate, his parents, and older brother Terry moved to Entiat. Following the death of his father, Laura married Arthur Carter, and had a son, Brian. The family lived in Wenatchee for a while, and then moved back to Entiat where the children attended school. In 1955, Cate played on the high school football team that finished third in league, and in 1958, he was named to the Wenatchee World's Chelan-Douglas League All-Star Football Team. Cate graduated from high school in 1959.
Later, he owned Lucky's Texaco Service Station in Entiat. He committed suicide on September 14, 1994.

Glenn Shelby Taylor, Jr. was born to Glenn and Maedell Taylor in San Diego, California. In 1951, his family moved to Entiat, Washington, where he attended school. He had one brother, Larry, and one sister, Pamela. His family moved to Ardenvoir in 1961, where his father drove a truck for the Harris lumber mill.
Larry Gene Taylor was born December 11, 1941 during a blackout in San Diego, California. His family moved to Entiat, Washington in 1951, and to Ardenvoir, Washington ten years later. He attended Entiat High School, where he graduated from in 1960. After high school, he joined the Navy and served as a corpsman. He loved fishing as well as following professional and college sports. He later moved to Arizona, where he was laid to rest after his death on December 22, 2004.
